Chapter 29 (travel honestly) |

1. |
Do not prevent people from crossing the river,
|
|
2. |
if You stride freely in the ferry.
|
|
3. |
When You are given an oar in the midst of the deep,
|
|
4. |
bend your arms and take it.
|
|
5. |
It is no crime in the hand of the god,
|
|
6. |
If the sailor does not welcome You. |
|
7. |
Do not make yourself a ferry on the river,
|
|
8. |
and then labour to seek its fare.
|
|
9. |
Take the fare from him who is wealthy,
|
|
10. |
and let pass him who is poor.
|
|
|
