Do the good and You will prosper as I ! |

Do not dip your pen to injure a man, for |

beware of brushing it aside ! |

The Ape dwells in the House of Khmun, |
|
6. |
his eye encircles the Two Lands. |

7. |
When he sees one who cheats with his finger, |
|
8. |
he carries his livelihood off in the flood. |
|
9. |
The scribe who cheats with his finger, |
|
10. |
his son will not be enrolled. |
|
11. |
If You make your life with these words in your heart, |
|
12. |
your children will observe them. |
