Chapter 3  
     
1.
 From His mouth the word had not yet gone forth, nor from His lips, His utterance.
  
2.
 And His voice was given forth like a mountain under the throne of Prince Yam.
  
3.
 And Kothar-u-Khasis declared: "Did I not tell Thee, O Prince Baal, nor declare, O Rider of Clouds?
  
4.
 'Lo, thine enemies, O Baal, Lo, thine enemies wilt Thou smite Lo, Thou wilt vanquish thy foes.
  
5.
 Thou wilt take thine eternal kingdom; thine everlasting sovereignty!'"
  
6.
 Kothar brings down two clubs and proclaims Their Names.
  
7.
 "Thy Name, even Thine, is Yagrush!
  
8.
 Yagrush, expel Yam, expel Yam from His throne, Nahar from the seat of His sovereignty!
  
9.
 Thou shalt swoop from the hands of Baal
  
10.
 Like an Eagle from His fingers!
  
11.
 Strike the shoulders of Prince Yam
  
12.
 Twixt the hands of Judge Nahar!"
  
13.
 The club swoops from the hands of Baal
  
14.
 Like an eagle from His fingers.
  
15.
 It strikes the shoulders of Prince Yam,
  
16.
 Twixt the hands of Judge Nahar.
  
17.
 Yam is strong;
  
18.
 He is not vanquished,
  
19.
 His joints do not fail,
  
20.
 Nor His frame collapse.
  
21.
 Kothar brings down a second club,
  
22.
 And proclaims His Name.
  
23.
 "Thy Name, even Thine, is Aymur!
  
24.
 Aymur, drive Yam,
  
25.
 Drive Yam from His throne!
  
26.
 Nahar from His seat of His sovereignty!
  
27.
 Thou shalt swoop from the hands of Baal
  
28.
 Like an Eagle from His fingers!
  
29.
 Strike the head of Prince Yam
  
30.
 Twixt the eyes of Judge Nahar!
  
31.
 Let Yam sink
  
32.
 And fall to the earth!"
  
33.
 And the club swoops from the hands of Baal
  
34.
 Like an eagle from His fingers.
  
35.
 It strikes the head of Prince Yam,
  
36.
 Twixt the eyes of Judge Nahar.
  
37.
 Yam sinks, Falls to the earth.
  
38.
 His joints fail
  
39.
 His frame collapses.
  
40.
 Baal drags and poises Yam
  
41.
 Destroys Judge Nahar.
