Chapter 3 |
| |
1. |
The good man defence is less common but equally effective when responding to negative comments concerning the church. It relates to the use of a good man or women as a spokesperson.
2. |
People who work with the sick, the elderly, the poor. A person who is regarded as Holy is an excellent spokesperson.
3. |
For when they speak and combine their attack as a reasonable man would, you get the double effect of a clearly good/holy person sounding reasonable against a seemingly unholy, unreasonable attacker.
4. |
The result is almost always defeat in the PR perception of the church vs attacking groups. Almost always the group comes off as extremists, as vigilantes, as wreckers of the moral fabric of society.
5. |
The author hopes a good man can find fault with the Supreme Bible for the author prays for the souls of the Popes and the clergy every night.
6. |
He prays for the souls of every person who has ever died at the hands of the church and every person who has killed and committed evil in the name of the church. |
7. |
So if a good man can show this Supreme Bible to be a terrible lie, he will be the first to rejoice in having this terrible burden removed.
