Similar to the common End Times prophecy of the coming of a one-world religious system is the prophecy that the End Times we will see the establishment a one-world political system. This remains a highly controversial prophecy between Judaism, Christianity and various extreme sects within Christianity.
  
  This prophecy is also frequently misinterpreted as part of the prophecy of the coming Kingdom of God on Earth. In Jewish tradition, the two prophecies are seen as complimentary, but in Christian End Times Prophecy, the uniting of political leaders under a single leadership is seen as a clear sign of the coming of the antichrist.
  
  Terms such as “New World Order” which have been used by various world leaders such as Republican American Presidents and even past and present Catholic Popes have been seen by many extremist groups as a sign of certain individuals being the “antichrist”.
